We recognise and appreciate that it is difficult and often traumatic to make a decision about long term care either for yourself or a member of your family. Hopefully with the right advice and support we can help make this decision easier for you. We are always available to talk with, to help guide you through the process and make the transition to residential care less stressful.

From the point of enquiry our professional and dedicated staff will provide you with all of the information necessary to make your decision, from both a medical and financial perspective.

Prior to your admission we will arrange a comprehensive assessment of your care needs. Carried out by a senior member of our care team this assessment will determine the most appropriate care package for you.

We will consult with you and your family, as well as others involved in your care such as your GP, Medical Consultants or any community or social care personnel to ensure that all of your requirements are fully understood and met in our care.

Shortly after admission your care team will prepare an individual care plan for you. This is a set of guidelines and instructions which will be drawn up in consultation with everyone involved in your care. The Care Plan will guide all who are involved in your care with the goal of ensuring that all of your medical, physical, spiritual and social needs are addressed.

Your care plan will be continuously reviewed and updated during your time with us to ensure that your changing needs are met.

Each of our nursing homes provides a safe and secure environment with round the clock nursing care. Our care teams will ensure that you settle into your new surroundings by minimising any apprehensions of worries that you may have. It may be helpful to bring some of your own belongings such as keepsakes, photos, your radio or other things that will make your surroundings feel more familiar.

Once you have settled into you new room you will find that there is plenty to do within the home. We have lots of comfortable lounge areas for you to relax and meet with other residents or you own family, we have areas where you can read, chat or watch tv. There are beautiful grounds surrounding each of our homes if you would like to go for a walk. We have a full programme of activities which you are welcome to join at any time and we have various classes and events available for you should you wish to take part.

If at any time you or your family feel there is a problem or wish to speak to someone in relation to you or your loved ones care there is always someone available.
