What short term care options do you provide?
We provide convalescence care for those recovering from and illness or an operation.

What long term care options do you provide?

We provide long term residential care for those who need assistance with the activities of daily living and we also provide high dependency care for those suffering from an illness or dementia related diseases.

Is there medical cover at all times?
Yes there are nurses on duty in the home 24 hours per day and a GP call out is available round the clock and for emergency care.

Can I continue to use my own GP?
Yes you can use your own GP.

What will I do during the day?
Your Activities Coordinator will provide you with a programme of activities which you are welcome to join at any time. There are a number of comfortable lounge areas to relax, read, watch TV, play games, do exercises, join in classes or meet with family and friends.

What are the visiting hours?
Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at any time provided there are no restrictions in place.

Will it feel like my home?
You are welcome to bring you own belongings, small items of furniture, photos, ornaments, your own radio to help the transition easier and our friendly and helpful staff will do their best to make you as comfortable as possible in your new surroundings.

How do I launder my clothes?
All clothes are laundered in the home by the laundry department.

What is the cost?
Fees vary depending on the level of dependency and the accommodation & location selected.

Will the Government pay for nursing home costs?
The Nursing Home Support Scheme provides financial support for those requiring long term care. For details please click here.

Can I still go out with family or friends?
Yes we encourage residents to go out with friends and family as often as the feel comfortable travelling for day trips or holidays.
